We’re living in unprecedented times, which means it’s no wonder that many of us are feeling ever more anxious, stressed, upset, and even depressed these days.
Like a rollercoaster doing loops and dives, our emotions might run from happy to sad, calm to fearful, and angry to disgusted all in one day. The difficult part is that these emotions create physical responses in our body as a result. They leave us worn out, tense and often unable to sleep.

Combine 2-3 of these favorite oils (3 drops each) and add them to your diffuser. Diffuse for 15 minutes at a time to create an uplifting environment for yourself.
Also recommended: sit in a quiet space and diffuse a blend of Bergamot (Citrus bergamia), Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata var genuina) essential oils to help you reduce stress. Diffuse for no more than 15 minutes at a time, ventilating the room afterwards.

Let’s say you’re feeling overwhelmed and you can’t seem to be able to concentrate. Your mind is racing with all kinds of thoughts, from finances, to work and family commitments, and even political events. This is when diffusing grounding and/or clarifying essential oils can be very beneficial.
Grounding essential oils serve to reign in our thoughts, anchor us, and bring tranquility and comfort to an otherwise racing mind.
Try this: Sit quietly and meditate while diffusing a blend of grounding essential oils like Frankincense (Boswellia carterii), Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) and Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha). Notice your body relax and your mind still.
Clarifying essential oils also benefit the mind, serving to lift the fog, increase focus and improve concentration to an otherwise unsettled mind.
Try this: diffuse a blend of Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis ct camphor), Siberian Fir (Abies sibirica) and Bergamot Mint (Mentha citrata) essential oils during the day while working or doing chores.
3. You can affect your respiratory system
As the days become shorter and cooler, we’re spending more time indoors and more easily falling ill. Which makes diffusing for respiratory issues like colds and flu very beneficial.
